BCS Quick Hitch Bushing (Female)

Description

BCS Quick Hitch Bushing (Female)

The female quick hitch bushing is the tractor half of BCS’s quick hitch. It bolts to the tractor’s PTO connection once and stays there; every attachment fitted with a matching male tang then locks into it with a lever instead of bolts. For owners with more than one implement, it is the accessory that saves the most time.

Required for Some Attachments

Some BCS implements arrive with a tang already built in and cannot be mounted without this bushing. The power harrows have an integrated tang with an oversized bolt hole that lets the harrow float side to side, and BCS requires the quick hitch bushing to mount them on every tractor. The plastic mulch layer also has its own tang and calls for the bushing on the 749, 779, 852 and 853.

Model 750 and 889

The 750 has a cast-iron rear cover with its tang built in, and the 889 carries an integrated heavy-duty tang. On those tractors the bushing goes on each attachment instead, using the HD 2-stud or 3-stud bushings, and this standard bushing is still needed on harrows mounted to them.

Keeping It Clean

Wipe grit from the bushing bore before each change and keep a light film of grease on it, so tangs slide in easily and the lever closes fully.
