This 10 lb weight kit fits the housing of the BCS 24 inch single-stage snow thrower. It helps when throwing snow uphill, where the thrower tends to ride up, and it counterbalances the heavier engines on the larger tractors so the thrower stays down on the surface.

When It Helps

Uphill drives and paths are the classic case: the thrower’s housing climbs instead of biting, and snow is left behind. The added weight keeps the cutting edge low. The 24 inch thrower fits tractors up to the 853, and on bigger-engined tractors the extra counterweight helps balance the machine.
