Honda WX15 1 1/2″ 74 GPM General Purpose Pump

Description

Honda WX15 1.5 Inch Portable Water Pump, 74 GPM at 20 lb

The WX15 is the bigger of Honda’s two lightweight pumps, moving up to 74 gallons per minute through 1.5 inch ports while weighing only 20 lb. It is the practical choice for homeowners and small farms that need more volume than the WX10 without stepping up to a 44 lb WB20. Hose clamps and a strainer are included.

Engine With Oil Alert

Power comes from the 49 cc GXH50, which Honda also uses in its EU1000i generator. Unlike the WX10’s GX25, it comes with Oil Alert standard, which stops the engine if the oil level falls and protects it on longer pumping jobs.

Uses Around the Property

Draining a flooded window well or pool cover, irrigating a vegetable plot from a pond, filling a stock trough or emptying a small boat all suit the WX15. With 121 feet of total head and 52 psi, it can also feed a sprinkler some distance from the source.

Strainer Habit

Keep the strainer on the suction hose and clear of the bottom of the water source, where silt and leaves collect. Honda’s replacement strainer is part 78325-YB0-751.

Next Size Up

For bigger volumes, the WB20 offers 164 gal/min with a cast iron pump end. For very small jobs, the 13 lb WX10 is easier still.
