BCS Standard Bumper Weight Kit

Heavy rear implements such as the power harrows and the swivel rotary plow pull the back of a BCS down and lift the front. The standard bumper weight kit clamps to the tractor’s engine bumper and adds 30 lbs at the front, counterbalancing the load so the machine turns at the row end without a struggle.

Where BCS Recommends It

BCS’s chart recommends a Bumper Weight Kit with every power harrow, the swivel rotary plow and the power potato digger, and BCS notes it makes the harrow and swivel plow much easier to turn at the end of a row.

Kit Contents

• Two mounting plates that sandwich the tubular bumper
• Two weight plates
• 4″ bolt and all hardware with instructions
• Total weight: 30 lbs

Not for Every Implement

BCS warns that with lighter implements, such as the standard rotary plow, the kit may keep the tool from reaching its full depth. Treat it as equipment for heavy attachments, and remove it otherwise.

For the 710

The 710 has its own smaller kit with one weight plate and a 3 inch bolt, designed for that tractor with a 20 inch tiller.
