BCS Small Curved Coupler for Models 718 to 739

The curved coupler connects BCS’s tow-behind attachments to the tractor. It slides onto the tow hitch just above the PTO and is held by a pin, steadying and balancing the tractor while it pulls. This small version fits the narrower hitches on models up to the 739; tractors from the 749 up have a wider hitch and take the large coupler.

Required for Three Attachments

BCS requires a curved coupler for the utility trailer, the spreader and the log splitter. The coupling lets a towed implement swing side to side to follow the tractor through turns, while preventing it from pitching up and down, which keeps the tractor level.

Leave the Tiller On

The curve is the clever part. It arches over a mounted rear-tine tiller, so the tiller can stay on the tractor while the trailer is hitched, with its tines held clear of the ground. Moving from tilling to hauling becomes a matter of hitching up rather than unmounting the tiller.

Ordering the Right Size

Match the coupler to the tractor, not the attachment: small for the 718 through 739, large for the 749 and larger models. One coupler serves all three tow-behind attachments on the same tractor.
