BCS 4″ x 19″ Steel Twinning Wheels (Pair)

Twinning wheels turn a pair of BCS 4 x 19 inch steel cage wheels into dual steel wheels. Each twinning wheel bolts directly to the outside of a cage wheel, doubling the steel on the ground on each side of the tractor for more grip and more flotation than a single cage wheel gives.

Requires the 4 x 19 Cage Wheels

These are not stand-alone wheels. BCS states they require its 4 x 19 inch steel cage wheels and mount directly to them; without that pair already on the tractor, the twinning wheels have nothing to attach to. Check that the tractor is running the 4 x 19 cage wheels before ordering.

When Duals Make Sense

Steel wheels are for soft, wet or sloping ground where rubber slips. Doubling them spreads the tractor’s weight over a wider strip, so it sinks less and grips more in mud or loose soil, and it is steadier across a slope. They are not for pavement or lawns, which steel will damage.

Turning With Duals

A wider dual-wheel stance needs more room at the end of a row. Plan headlands accordingly and turn with the differential unlocked where the tractor has one.
