Honda WH20 2 Inch High-Pressure Pump for Long Hose Runs

The WH20 is the stronger of Honda’s two high-pressure pumps, delivering 64 psi and a total head of 148 feet with up to 119 gallons per minute through 2 inch ports. Its GX160 engine gives the extra power that larger sprinkler systems, long hose lays and steep elevation changes demand.

Reaching the Far End

Every foot of hose and every foot of height costs pressure. With 148 feet of total head, the WH20 can feed sprinklers well above the water source or run several nozzles at once, which makes it suited to farm irrigation, nursery watering and wash-down work where one pump has to cover a lot of ground.

Pump Details

The high-pressure, self-priming centrifugal pump uses a rigid-mounted cast iron volute and cast iron impeller with a carbon and ceramic mechanical seal. It primes in about 80 seconds at 16.4 feet, with a maximum suction lift of 26 feet.

Protect the Seal From Running Dry

A mechanical seal relies on water for cooling. Never run the pump without priming it, and shut it down as soon as the source runs out rather than letting it spin dry.

Choosing a Pressure Pump

For shorter runs, the WH15 is lighter and smaller. For moving volume rather than pressure, the WB20 and WB30 are the better match.
