The 35 inch flail is the widest BladeRunner and sits on BCS’s heaviest tractors. This scoop blade kit lets that wide mower cut large areas of lawn to a manicured finish, which suits estates, sports grounds and institutional grounds that already own a 35 inch flail for rough mowing.

Wide Lawns, One Mower

At 35 inches, the flail covers big lawns quickly, and with scoop blades fitted it gives a clean, even cut with the clippings spread uniformly. The mower’s handle still sets height between half an inch and 4 inches.

Change Over Once a Season

BCS notes the switch from Y blades to scoop blades takes about an hour, so this is best done once, at the start of the lawn season, with the Y blades refitted when brush work resumes. Turf wheels on the tractor help protect large lawns from tire marks.

Balanced Rotor

Fit every blade in the kit and torque all bolts evenly; a missing or loose blade unbalances a wide rotor and shakes the mower. The 35 inch anti-scalp roller pairs well with the scoop blades on uneven lawns.
