This kit rebuilds the brush of the widest BCS power sweeper with a mix of nylon and wire bristles. It is the choice for contractors and grounds crews cleaning large paved areas thoroughly, for example stripping embedded grit and debris from a parking lot ahead of resurfacing, a job BCS singles out for wire bristles.

Why Mix in Wire

Nylon sweeps loose material; wire digs out what has packed into cracks and the surface texture. On a 48 inch sweeper covering large lots, that extra bite saves repeat passes when the goal is a truly clean surface rather than a tidy one.

Changing a Wide Brush

BCS’s how-to video shows the full replacement procedure. On a 48 inch shaft, lay the wafers out in order before starting, and make sure the conical wafers go back at the ends. Wear gloves; worn wire bristles are sharp.
