Yanmar 85″ Disc Harrow

Description

Yanmar YDH307 85-Inch Heavy Disc Harrow

The YDH307 is Yanmar’s largest disc harrow, spanning 85 inches with 20 blades and weighing about 846 pounds. Its weight is its main advantage: heavy harrows penetrate firm ground without needing extra ballast, which suits utility tractors from roughly 30 to 55 HP preparing larger plots and small fields.

Heavier Frame, Deeper Work

The 18-inch notched and smooth blade combination cuts residue and levels soil in the same pass, with 7.5-inch blade spacing. The hitch is Category 1. Because it covers more ground, it is worth checking bearing condition and gang bolts more often than on a garden-size harrow. Its mass also keeps the gangs from riding up on sod, which lighter harrows struggle with.

• Number of Blades: 20
• Hitch: Category 1
• Suggested tractor size: 30 to 55 HP
• Approximate weight: 846 lbs
• Blades: 20, 18-inch notched and smooth

Transport and Storage

An 85-inch harrow is wider than many gates and trailers, so measure clearances before moving it between fields. Standing it on blocks during storage keeps the blades off damp ground, and the sealed bearings should be checked for play every spring.

Who It Suits

Choose the YDH307 for utility tractors and larger acreages. The YDH206 fits mid-size compact tractors, and the YDH105 is the option for sub-compacts.
