Yanmar 70.59″ Rotary Tiller

Description

Yanmar YRT206 70.59-Inch Rotary Tiller for Larger Compact Tractors

The YRT206 is Yanmar’s widest rotary tiller, with a working width just over 70 inches. It is intended for larger compact tractors that have the power to spin a wide rotor through firm ground, and for owners preparing enough acreage that every extra foot of width saves real time.

Width and Weight

At about 718 pounds, it is the heaviest tiller in the family, which helps it stay in the ground in compacted soil. Working depth is about seven inches, recommended PTO power runs from 30 to 50 HP, and a slip clutch protects the driveline. Checking tine bolts after the first few hours of use is worthwhile, since new tines can settle and loosen.

• Working Height: 7″
• Hitch: Category 1
• Guard: 540 RPM Slip Clutch Protection
• Recommended PTO power: 30 to 50 HP
• Approximate weight: 718 lbs
• Working width: 70.59 in

Tine Wear

Worn tines lose length and cut less deeply over time, so measuring them against a new tine each season shows when a full set is due.

Choosing the Widest Tiller

Pick the YRT206 for market gardens, large food plots and landscape preparation on bigger tractors. The YRT205 is easier to maneuver and suits 25 HP tractors, while the YRT104 fits sub-compacts.
