Yanmar YBB205 60.75-Inch Box Scraper Blade

The YBB205 is a 60.75-inch box scraper for compact tractors from roughly 18 to 35 HP. It is wide enough to cover the rear tire tracks of most compact tractors, so it levels as it goes rather than leaving ruts beside the box, which is why it is a favorite for driveway repair and building pads.

Carrying and Spreading

Like the rest of the range, it cuts forward and reverse with high-carbon, reversible edges, and hardened scarifier shanks with replaceable tips rip compacted ground. The reinforced A-frame and side panels absorb shock from rocks and roots, and the Category 1 hitch is quick-hitch compatible for fast changeovers. The open back of the box lets the rear edge smooth whatever the front edge leaves behind, so the finish improves with each pass.

Filling Low Spots

Carrying a partial load and lowering the box gradually over a low spot spreads material in a thin, even layer. Several thin passes compact better than one thick fill, especially on gravel drives. Rolling or wetting the fill between layers helps it settle before the next lift.
