The tracking width does not change across the LS range, so at 52 inches the deck extends eight inches past the wheels on each side. That is a lot of unsupported deck, and it is what makes this machine unusually good at reaching under obstacles and unusually quick to find a hidden drop. Operators coming from a narrower LS need to relearn the trim side rather than assume it carries over.
