Batteries Over the Off Season

A machine parked from November to March usually starts the season with a battery that has quietly discharged, and repeated deep discharges are what kill them rather than age. Either disconnect the negative terminal or put the machine on a maintenance charger. Both take a minute in autumn and save a no-start and a recovery trip on the first warm morning.
