The HSS724AWD is built for the suburban driveway: flat, paved and cleared before work. It combines Honda’s 23.8 inch two-stage housing and pneumatic tire drive with a key-operated DC electric start, so it fires without a pull cord or a plug-in cord, and it stays light enough at 220 lb to wheel in and out of a crowded garage.

Starting Without a Struggle

An onboard battery turns the GX200 engine over at the twist of a key, and Honda keeps a recoil starter on the machine in case the battery runs down. For owners who have stopped using a snow blower because the pull start became too much, this is the feature that matters most.

Light and Easy on Pavement

Fourteen inch pneumatic tires with a directional tread give good grip on cleared concrete and asphalt and make pivoting at the end of each pass easy. Infinitely variable hydrostatic drive lets the operator slow right down in heavy windrows and speed up through a light dusting, and the auger keeps its speed whatever the ground speed. Clearing Around Parked Cars

The electric joystick swings the chute through 198 degrees without stopping, so snow can be thrown clear of a parked car on one side and the neighbor’s walk on the other. Set the chute before reaching the car rather than beside it.
