The HSS724AT pairs Honda’s most compact HSS housing, 23.8 inches wide, with dual rubber tracks. That combination makes it the pick for sloped driveways, paths with a grade, and lots where packed snow turns to ice by February. A 196 cc GX200 commercial engine drives a serrated two-stage auger and impeller that move up to 1,500 lb of snow per minute and throw it as far as 49 feet.

Tracks and a Height-Adjustable Housing

Low-temperature rubber tracks with cleats keep the machine planted on inclines and rough ground where wheels would spin. Honda also gives the track models a thumb-operated auger height control on a gas strut. Lower the housing to scrape down to pavement or cut into a hard pack without riding up over it; raise it for gravel or uneven surfaces so stones stay on the ground.

Easy to Drive

The hydrostatic transmission gives infinitely variable speed in forward and reverse from one lever, with no gear changes and no effect on auger speed. Left and right steering levers turn the machine with a squeeze, and holding both puts it in neutral so it can be rolled with the engine off. An electric joystick swings the chute through 198 degrees on the move.
