BCS Adjustable Tool Carrier Kit and Drawbar

BCS’s drag implements, the ridger, V-cultivator, subsoiler, root digger and bed shaper, are pulled rather than powered, and none of them mounts to the tractor on its own. The Tool Carrier Kit is the link. It contains everything needed to connect drag implements to a BCS tractor, and one kit serves the whole range.

Two Parts, One Connection

A drawbar bolts to the tractor’s PTO connection point, using its studs, or slides in on an empty quick hitch tang if the tractor carries a quick hitch bushing. The adjustable tool carrier then fastens to the drawbar with the included pin and bushing, and the implement clamps into the carrier. Mounting to the PTO gives a strong, rigid connection for tools that are pulled through soil.

Setting the Angle of Attack

A crank handle on the carrier sets the angle of the implement, so a ridger can be tipped to bite deeper or a cultivator set to skim. Being able to change the angle in the field is what lets one carrier suit tools as different as a subsoiler shank and a spring tine cultivator.

Adding Implements Later

Because only one carrier is needed for every drag tool, the first implement carries the cost of the kit and later ones are just the implement. The 1 meter straight bar clamps into the carrier to run two tools side by side.
