BCS 8″ x 11″ x 21″ Floatation Wheel and Tire Set (Pair)

Floatation tires are built for ground too soft for ordinary tires: wet meadows, marshy field edges, sand and freshly worked soil. This tubeless set is 8 inches wide on an 11 inch rim and 21 inches tall, giving a BCS tractor a broad, low-pressure footprint that rides on top rather than sinking.

Spreading the Load

The wider and taller the tire, the larger the footprint and the lower the pressure it puts on the ground. That keeps the tractor moving in soft conditions and reduces compaction and rutting, important on wet hay ground and sensitive turf.

Pressure Matters

Floatation tires work best at the low pressure printed on the sidewall. Overinflated, they lose the footprint that justifies them; check them at the start of each job in soft ground.

Narrower Wide Tires

The 8 x 10 x 20 inch lug and turf sets are slightly smaller and cost half as much where full floatation is not needed.
