BCS 710 Bumper Weight Kit

On the compact 710, a 20 inch tiller hangs enough weight behind the axle to make the front of the tractor light. This bumper weight kit is designed specifically for the 710 running a 20 inch tiller. It bolts to the engine bumper and adds 19 lbs at the front to balance the load.

What It Does

A balanced tractor tills at its set depth without the operator pressing down on the handlebars, and it turns more easily at the end of a row. BCS’s application chart recommends a Bumper Weight Kit with the 20 inch tiller on the 710 and 718.

Kit Contents

• Two mounting plates that clamp around the tubular bumper
• One weight plate
• 3″ bolt and all installation hardware
• Total weight: 19 lbs

Remove It for Light Tools

BCS cautions that bumper weight on lighter implements can stop them reaching full depth, because it takes weight off the rear. Fit the kit for the 20 inch tiller and take it off for lighter work.

Standard Kit

Other BCS tractors use the standard bumper weight kit, which carries two weight plates for 30 lbs.
