BCS 6.5×12 Foam-Filled Tire Upgrade

Description

BCS 6.5×12 Foam-Filled Tire Upgrade (New Tractor Purchase)

This option foam-fills the 6.5×12 tires on a new tractor at the time of purchase. It applies to the 750, which comes on 6.5×12 wheels, and to the 749, 779, 852 or 853 when ordered with the 6.5×12 wheel upgrade. It adds about 100 lbs per pair, the heaviest foam fill BCS offers.

For the Heaviest Work

The 750 is built for deep tillage with the 33 inch HD tiller and hard drag work, and 100 lbs of foam ballast in its wide tires adds traction exactly where that work needs it, without loading the handlebars. Flat tires stop being a field problem.

6.5×12 Upgrade Specifications

• Wheels: 6.5×12, at tractor purchase only
• Tractors: 750; 749, 779, 852, 853 with the 6.5×12 upgrade
• Added weight: about 100 lbs per pair
• Foam is permanent

Choose Ballast Carefully

Do not add wheel weights or dual wheels on top of foam-filled tires; BCS says it overstresses axles and differentials. More weight also means more compaction on soft ground.

Existing Tractors

For tractors already owned, the 6.5×12 foam-filled replacement set supplies complete new wheels.
