BCS 28″ Snow Thrower Weight Kit

A 12 lb weight that bolts to the housing of the BCS 28 inch single-stage snow thrower. It holds the thrower down when working uphill and counterbalances heavier engines, such as the Honda GX390 on the 749 and larger tractors, which can otherwise lift the front of the thrower.

Heavier Engines, Lighter Front

The 28 inch thrower fits tractors from the 722 to the 889. On the larger models, a heavier engine shifts balance rearward, and the thrower’s edge can ride up over packed snow. Twelve pounds on the housing restores the balance, keeping the edge scraping clean.
