BCS 22″ Fixed Wheel Extensions (Pair)

The 22 inch extensions, 11 inches per side, are the single-set answer to straddling a 30 inch raised bed. BCS recommends them on their own, without any other extension, for running the tractor with its wheels in the paths on either side of the bed.

One Set, Bed Width

BCS’s chart lists 22 inch extensions, or 16 plus 5.5 inch, as required for the plastic mulch layer, and recommends them for the bed shaper on 30 inch beds. Bolting on one set is quicker than stacking two, and leaves fewer joints to check.

Turning a Wide Tractor

A much wider track turns in a bigger circle and needs more headland. Leave space at bed ends to turn without driving onto the next bed.

Narrower Options

For traction or slope stability rather than bed straddling, the 4.5 or 5.5 inch extensions are enough.
