Honda HSS1332AT 32 Inch Track Snow Blower with GX390 Power

The HSS1332AT is the widest and most powerful machine in Honda’s HSS line. It clears a 31.9 inch path, moves up to 2,750 lb of snow per minute and throws it as far as 56 feet, powered by the 389 cc GX390, the largest engine in the HSS series. It is built for long rural lanes, farmyards and lots that take a full-width snowfall from open fields.

Capacity Beyond the 28 Inch Models

Compared with the HSS928, the HSS1332 clears nearly 4 inches more per pass and moves about 45 percent more snow per minute. In practice that is the difference between keeping up during a heavy storm and having to go back for a second pass on the same section. The 1.5 gallon tank supports the longer sessions a big property demands.

Tracks and Adjustable Housing

Low-temperature rubber tracks with cleats hold traction on slopes, ice and uneven ground. The thumb lever and pneumatic strut set the auger housing height for pavement, gravel or hard pack, and the hydrostatic transmission matches ground speed to the depth of snow without changing auger speed.

Snow Fences and Drifts

On open land, drifts form downwind of every obstacle. Take drifts in layers, with the housing raised and the speed low, rather than driving straight into the full depth. The machine clears faster that way and its shear bolts survive the day.

Starting a Big Engine by Hand

The GX390 is a lot of engine for a recoil start. Set the choke as the manual directs, pull smoothly through the compression stroke rather than yanking, and let the engine warm for a minute before engaging the auger.

HSS1332AT or ATD?

The HSS1332ATD adds electric start, an hour meter and a torque sensor that stops the auger before a shear bolt breaks, for 22 lb more. The HSS928AT is lighter where 28 inches will do.
