BCS 5″ x 12″ x 22″ Wheel and Tire Set (Pair)

The 5 x 12 x 22 inch set is standard on BCS’s professional tractors: the 749, 779, 852 and 853. Its 22 inch diameter gives those tractors the height and ground clearance that BCS credits for straddling raised beds and crossing uneven ground, and it is the wheel BCS recommends for the 32 inch brush mower.

Height for Bigger Attachments

Taller tires lift the engine further from the attachment, which is why BCS recommends 5×12 wheels with the 32 inch brush mower, for engine clearance, and as a minimum for the plastic mulch layer. The rim is two-piece and adjustable in width.

Wheel Weights

BCS recommends 12 inch wheels for the subsoiler and moldboard plow because they accept the 150 lb wheel weights. Those weights bolt to this wheel’s hub.

Upgrade Path

BCS notes these tractors can be upgraded to the wider 6.5 x 12 inch wheels standard on the 750.
