Clearing Ground You Cannot See

Friction plates in the driveline slip on a hard strike, absorbing the shock that would otherwise travel to the gearbox, then re-engage without the operator leaving the seat. The heat-treated blades swing back on impact and the pan-type stump jumper lifts the deck over stumps. Blade tip speed of about 12,500 feet per minute cuts cleanly through heavy weeds and saplings up to an inch across.
