Yanmar 850 lb. Fertilizer Spreader and Seeder

Description

Yanmar YFS20 850 lb Three-Point Spreader and Seeder

The YFS20 is the larger of Yanmar’s broadcast spreaders, carrying 850 pounds in a formed metal tub for tractors of 24 HP and up. Its capacity and spread width, from about 12 to 60 feet depending on material, suit pasture fertilizing and seeding larger food plots.

Capacity for Bigger Jobs

More hopper capacity means fewer refills on larger acreage. The steel tubing frame and metal tub stand up to heavier use, the empty unit weighs about 135 pounds, and a spreading chart on the machine speeds up rate setting. Side discharge allows boundary spreading along fence lines. At 42 inches tall, the tub is best filled with a loader bucket when using bulk material.

Protecting the Metal Tub

Emptying and rinsing the tub after each use, then letting it dry before storage, keeps fertilizer salts from corroding the metal. A light coat of oil on moving parts at season’s end helps too.

Who It’s For

Choose the YFS20 for larger properties and pastures. The YPFS20 is lighter, uses a poly hopper and suits smaller tractors.
