Yanmar 75″ Disc Harrow

Description

Yanmar YDH206 75-Inch Disc Harrow

The YDH206 is a 75-inch disc harrow with 20 blades, sized for compact tractors from about 22 to 40 HP. It prepares seedbeds after plowing, incorporates cover crops and breaks up sod in food plots, covering noticeably more ground per pass than the smaller YDH105.

Notched and Smooth Blades

The 18-inch blades come in a notched and smooth combination: notched blades bite into residue and hard ground, and smooth blades leave a finer finish. Spacing is 7.5 inches, weight is about 553 pounds, and the hitch is Category 1. Adding weight to the frame helps the blades penetrate hard ground on dry days.

• Number of Blades: 20
• Hitch: Category 1
• Suggested tractor size: 22 to 40 HP
• Approximate weight: 553 lbs
• Blades: 20, 18-inch notched and smooth

Seasonal Care

Disc blades rust quickly if stored with soil on them, and a light coat of oil after the season keeps the edges sharp for spring. Checking the gang bolts for tightness after the first few acres prevents blades from walking on the shaft.

Matching Harrow to Tractor

Pick the YDH206 for mid-size compact tractors on small farms and food plots. Smaller tractors should use the YDH105, and larger ones can pull the 85-inch YDH307.
