Yanmar YLR306 72-Inch 300 Series Heavy-Duty Landscape Rake

The YLR306 is the heavy-duty 72-inch landscape rake in Yanmar’s 300 Series, built for tractors from about 20 to 60 HP. At roughly 272 pounds with 36 spring steel tines, it holds up better to rocky ground and daily use than the standard 200 Series model.

Raking and Backfilling

The 300 Series adds separate backfill angles to the usual forward raking angles, at 0, 15 and 30 degrees left or right, so the rake can pull soil back into trenches and around foundations as well as gather debris. The one-inch tine spacing screens rocks and roots cleanly, and each tine bolts on individually.

Backfilling Trenches

Setting the rake to a backfill angle and driving parallel to a trench pulls the spoil pile back in without a separate blade. Finishing with a straight pass leaves the surface ready for seed. Driving slowly with the rake angled keeps the soil flowing into the trench rather than piling up ahead of the tines.
