Yanmar YQASP6 69-Inch Quick-Attach Snow Pusher

The YQASP6 is a 69-inch box-style snow pusher for tractor loaders and skid steers from about 30 to 75 HP. Box pushers move far more snow per pass than a straight blade because the side panels trap the snow and carry it forward, making them the fastest tool for clearing parking lots, farm yards and long driveways. It suits compact tractor loaders and skid steers alike.

Construction

The moldboard is 10-gauge rolled steel, 30 inches tall, with reinforced quarter-inch side panels. A replaceable 1.5 by 8-inch rubber wear edge glides over pavement joints and protects sealed surfaces, and formed steel skid shoes set the working height. The pusher weighs about 448 pounds and mounts on a universal quick-attach plate.

Pushing Technique

Pushing snow in straight lines to a pile at the edge of the area is faster than angling. Keeping the rubber edge in light contact with the surface clears down to pavement without bouncing. Pick the YQASP6 for compact tractor loaders. Larger machines can use the 79-inch YQASP7 or 91-inch YQASP8.
