Yanmar YRC206R 6-Foot Rotary Cutter with Shear Pin

The YRC206R is Yanmar’s 6-foot rotary cutter for larger compact and utility tractors from about 25 to 60 HP. A 6-foot swath covers the tire tracks of most tractors in that class with room to spare, which means fewer passes over pastures, hay field edges and road frontage.

Width for Open Ground

At about 623 pounds, the YRC206R carries a heavier deck than the smaller cutters, and blade tip speed approaches 15,000 feet per minute. A shear pin protects the driveline, the gearbox is cast iron with forged gears, and the cutting height range runs from 1.5 to 9 inches. Before mowing a new field, walking it once to flag stumps and rocks prevents most broken pins.

Matching the 6-Foot Cutter

Choose the YRC206R for open pasture and tractors of 30 HP and up. The YRC206SCR adds a slip clutch at the same width for rocky ground, and the 5-foot YRC205R is easier to handle on smaller tractors and in tight spaces.
