The YP165GW combines three tools in one frame: a 240-amp welder, a generator and an air compressor. For farm and ranch repair work away from the shop, that means welding a broken gate hinge, running a grinder and airing up a flat implement tire from a single machine that fits in a pickup bed.

One Machine, Three Jobs

Carrying one engine instead of three saves weight, space and maintenance, and it puts a welder where the damage happened rather than hauling the equipment back to the shop. The whole unit runs from a key-start CRX420 engine, so there is no cord to pull when a repair cannot wait. Keeping electrodes dry in a sealed container and draining the compressor tank after each use prevents the two most common problems with a combination unit, porous welds and rusted tanks. Using the compressor to blow out radiator fins and air filters in the field is one of the most practical everyday uses of the combination.
