Yanmar 2300 Watt CRX79cc Inverter Generator

Description

Yanmar YP2300VGC 2300 Watt CRX Inverter Generator

The YP2300VGC is Yanmar’s compact inverter generator, rated at 2300 watts from a 79cc CRX engine. Inverter technology produces clean, stable power that is safe for laptops, phones, battery chargers and other sensitive electronics, which makes it the right choice for camping, tailgating and backup power for small loads.

Quiet, Clean Power

Unlike an open-frame generator, an inverter can throttle its engine to match the load, so it runs quieter and uses less fuel when only a few devices are connected. The unit holds about 1.2 gallons of fuel and is light enough to carry by hand. Running it on fresh fuel and draining the carburetor before long storage keeps the small engine starting easily. Its output also suits running a small space heater fan, a CPAP machine or a chest freezer on a short cycle, as long as the combined running watts stay under the rating.

Picking the Right Generator

Choose the YP2300VGC for portability and electronics. For well pumps, power tools or household backup, the YP5500GNH and YP6875GNC provide far more capacity in open-frame form. It is also the natural companion for a trailer or cabin with modest electrical needs.
