The YP158TP is a 2-inch semi-trash pump that moves up to 158 gallons per minute, driven by a CRX210 engine. Semi-trash pumps are designed to pass small solids and sandy water that would clog a clear-water transfer pump, which makes this model useful for draining flooded basements, dewatering small excavations and emptying stock tanks.

Moving Dirty Water

The 2-inch ports suit common suction and discharge hose sizes, and the compact frame is easy to carry to the water rather than running long suction lines. Priming the pump casing with water before each start is essential, since running dry damages the seal. A strainer on the suction end keeps larger debris out of the impeller.
