Yanmar YHF20 1,500 lb Three-Point Hay Fork

The YHF20 is a rear-mounted hay spear rated to lift round bales up to 1,500 pounds on a Category 1 three-point hitch. It lets a compact tractor move bales without a loader, or handle a second bale on the rear while the loader carries one on the front.

Spear and Stabilizers

The main spear is 1.8 inches in diameter, tapered and 48.75 inches long, so it enters tightly wound bales cleanly. Two welded 1.25-inch stabilizer spikes stop the bale from spinning in transit. The fork weighs about 64 pounds, has no hydraulics or moving parts, and is quick-hitch compatible. Bales should be speared through the center of the flat end so the weight sits evenly on the main spear.

Ballast Benefit
