Scag Turf Tiger II 61″ Briggs & Stratton 40HP Pink Warrior

Description

Scag Turf Tiger II 61 Inch Pink Warrior Zero-Turn

The Pink Warrior Turf Tiger II is the 61 inch, 40 horsepower Vanguard machine in Scag’s Warrior livery, from the Mowers For A Cause range, priced level with the standard mower.

The Livery at the Top of the Catalog

Scag runs its cause finishes from homeowner mowers up to the flagship, and this is the expensive end of that span. A machine at this price is usually bought by an established business rather than a sole operator, which changes what the finish does: it becomes a statement about the firm rather than about the individual driving it, and it is seen by the customers of the largest properties on a round.

• Cutting width: 61 inches, Velocity Plus cutter deck
• Engine: Vanguard BIG BLOCK EFI, 40 HP
• Finish: Warrior limited-run livery
• Frame: double-tube steel
• Fuel capacity: 12 gallons
• Forward speed: up to 12 mph

Decals Outlast Paint, Until They Do Not

Livery machines carry more decal work than standard ones, and decals lift at their edges long before paint fails, usually where a pressure washer has been held close. Washing at a distance and drying edges rather than leaving water sitting under a lifted corner keeps them intact. Replacement decal sets exist but rarely match a faded machine exactly.

Insurance and an Identifiable Machine

Distinctive equipment is harder to sell on quietly and easier to describe to police, which is worth noting on a machine at this value. Recording the serial number and photographing the unit from several angles when it arrives gives an insurer and an investigator something concrete to work from, and takes the same few minutes on any machine.

The Programme Turf Tigers

The Simply the Brave STTII-61V-40BV-EFI-T is the tan alternative on the identical machine at the same price. In standard colours it is the STTII-61V-40BV-EFI. No programme finish is offered on the 72 inch Turf Tigers.
