Calibration Is the Whole Job

An application machine that has not been calibrated is a machine applying an unknown rate, which is both wasteful and, with regulated products, a compliance problem. Calibrating on a measured area at the start of a season and again whenever the product changes is not optional diligence. It is what makes the results repeatable and the records defensible.

Rinse the Tank Between Products

Residue from one product in a tank changes what the next one does, and some combinations are actively harmful to turf. A proper rinse between different chemistries, rather than a top-up onto whatever was left, is basic practice and the thing most often skipped when a crew is behind schedule.
