Scag SWZT 36 Inch Hydro-Drive Walk-Behind Mower

The SWZT is Scag’s floating-deck hydro walk-behind, using dual ZT-2800 transaxles and a Hero cutter deck. At 36 inches with a 14.5 horsepower Kawasaki FS it is the entry point to the range.

A Floating Deck Rather Than a Fixed One

The SWZT carries its deck on a floating mount, which lets it follow ground contours independently of the machine’s wheels. On undulating turf that produces a noticeably more even cut than a fixed deck, because the deck is not being levered up and down by every dip the wheels cross. It is the main structural difference between this range and the SWZ.

Recoil Starting Wants Technique
