Honda WSP100 1 HP Submersible Trash Pump, 150 GPM

The WSP100 is the most powerful of Honda’s electric submersibles. Its 1 hp, 115 volt motor moves up to 150 gallons per minute and lifts to 42 feet, and a side discharge with a single-channel stainless impeller passes solids up to 2 inches. It is the electric pump for large volumes of dirty water: flooded basements, construction sumps, ponds and drainage pits.

Power Without Exhaust

Indoors or in confined spaces, a gas pump is impractical because of its exhaust. The WSP100 plugs into a standard outlet and works fully or partially submerged, giving trash-pump capability where an engine cannot run. Honda recommends a GFCI-protected outlet.

Engineered for Continuous Work

Rated for continuous duty around the clock, it protects itself with a built-in thermal switch that resets automatically. Oil-lubricated tandem mechanical seals, silicon carbide on the lower face, tolerate running dry, and shielded ball bearings top and bottom extend service life. The non-mercury float switch starts and stops it automatically.

Lifting It Out

Never lift a submersible by its power cord. Tie a rope to the handle before lowering the pump, and use the rope to raise it for cleaning or when the job is done.

Matching a Pump to the Job

The WSP50 is lighter and draws less current for smaller volumes. Outdoors, with fuel available and big volumes to move, Honda’s gas WT20 and WT30 trash pumps deliver more flow.
