BCS Lawn Mowing Scoop Blade Kit for the 24″ Flail Mower

The 24 inch BCS flail mower is built for rough ground, with Y blades that pulverize brush and weeds. When a narrow area of rough ground is turned into lawn, these scoop blades convert the mower to give a manicured lawn finish instead, so a 732 or 739 owner does not need a separate lawn mower for it.

Off the Lawn to On It

Scoop blades lift grass and cut it cleanly, leaving the even finish a lawn needs, while the mower’s height adjustment still runs from half an inch to 4 inches. On a 24 inch mower they suit narrow lawns, paths through gardens and areas between beds.

Allow Time to Change Over

BCS warns that changing from the standard Y blades to scoop blades takes considerable time, about an hour. This is a change for a new season or a new use of the land, not something to swap back and forth each week.
