BCS BladeRunner Flail Mower Weight Kit

This kit adds up to 32 lbs to the front of any of the three BladeRunner flail mowers, the 24, 30 and 35 inch. The weights attach with U-bolts to the red tube handle on the front of the mower and help keep the flail firmly on the ground in hilly terrain.

Mostly for Older Tractors

BCS is candid about who needs it: the kit is meant for older tractor models whose engines do not give enough counterweight to keep the mower down on hills. On current BCS tractors, BCS says, the weights are likely unnecessary. Owners of older machines mowing steep ground are the main buyers.

Signs You Need It

If the operator must push down on the handlebars to keep the flail cutting on slopes, or the front of the mower lifts in heavy growth, the mower is light at the front and this kit addresses it.
