BCS 5×12 Foam-Filled Tire Upgrade (New Tractor Purchase)

For a new 749, 852 or 853, this upgrade has the standard 5×12 tires foam-filled at the time of purchase. It adds about 90 lbs per pair, the kind of ballast that helps those tractors pull drag implements and push snow, and it ends punctures for good.

Ballast Built In

Foam-filled 5×12 tires can sometimes replace wheel weights or barbell hangers entirely, BCS notes, and their weight sits at the axle where it does not affect steering. On thorn-heavy brush work, the end of flat tires is the bigger benefit.

Stress Warning

Do not fit wheel weights or dual wheels to foam-filled tires; BCS says the combination overloads axles and differentials. Heavier wheels compact more soil, which matters on beds. Allow a short wait, as foam fill is made to order.

Replacement Version

Owners of an existing tractor can buy the complete 5×12 foam-filled replacement wheel set instead.
