Description

BCS 33″ Two-Stage Snow Blower

The 33 inch two-stage blower is the biggest snow blower BCS makes and is meant for long drives, farm yards and lanes that drift shut. It weighs 168 lbs and fits the 749 and larger tractors, where the extra engine size and 22 inch tires give it the traction and power to work through deep, packed drifts and throw snow up to 45 feet.

Width for Long Runs

Five extra inches over the 28 inch blower cut the number of passes on a long lane, and the 23 inch intake still lets the machine bite into a full-height bank. The two stages split the work: the 15 inch auger chops and gathers, and the impeller throws. Both are protected by shear bolts, and the housing is 3/8 inch steel plate on a cast-iron gearbox.

Skids, Rollers and Chute

Choose skids, with three height settings from 0 to 2 inches, for scraping close on pavement, or swap to the adjustable rollers supplied with the blower for easier steering and less drag. The discharge chute rotates 200 degrees through a control rod mounted on the right handlebar, so the operator can keep snow away from buildings and parked vehicles while walking.

Fitment for the 33 Inch

  • Tractors: 749, 779, 852, 853 directly
  • 750 and 889: HD 3-bolt bushing required
  • Not charted for: 710, 718, 722, 732 or 739
  • Weight: 168 lbs
  • Throw: rated up to 45 feet

Hydrostatic Tractors and Deep Snow

On a 779 or 889, the hydrostatic drive lets the operator slow the ground speed into a heavy drift while the blower keeps running at full speed, then speed up again in lighter snow, without changing gear. On geared tractors, drop a gear before the drift rather than in it. Coverage is three years residential and one year commercial.

When a Smaller Blower Will Do

The 28 inch two-stage blower is 20 lbs lighter and also fits the 739. The single-stage 28 inch thrower is far cheaper for regions where storms bring a few inches at a time. The 33 inch makes sense where snow clearing is a big, regular job.
