BCS HD 3-Stud Quick Hitch Bushing for the 750 and 889

The Model 750 does not use BCS’s standard quick hitch. Its cast-iron rear transmission cover has a steel tang built in, and each attachment carries a heavy-duty bushing instead, with the 889 using the same HD system. This 3-stud version is for the heaviest attachments those tractors run.

Which Attachments Need 3 Studs

BCS specifies the 3-stud bushing for the 33 inch HD rear-tine tiller, the swivel rotary plow, the 35 inch flail mower, the 38 inch lawn mower and both two-stage snow blowers. These are the largest and heaviest loads on the PTO, and the third stud spreads that load. Most other 750 and 889 attachments use the 2-stud bushing.

Planning a 750 Setup

Count the heavy attachments that will run on the tractor and order a 3-stud bushing for each, so none has to be swapped between implements. Keep the bushing bore clean and lightly greased, since a clean fit is what lets the heavy tools mount without struggle.

2-Stud or 3-Stud

The HD 2-stud bushing covers the rest of the 750 and 889 attachment list, from tillers to sweepers. Standard quick hitch parts do not fit these two tractors’ integrated tangs.
