Yanmar YPFS20 500 lb Fertilizer Spreader and Seeder

The YPFS20 is a three-point broadcast spreader with a 500-pound polymer hopper, sized for compact tractors of 18 HP and up. It spreads granular fertilizer and seed for lawns, pastures and food plots, and its corrosion-resistant poly tub is well suited to fertilizer, which quickly rusts bare steel.

Rate Control and Spread

A spreading chart mounted on the machine makes rate setting quick, and a side discharge option lets the operator broadcast to one side for boundary spreading along fences and field edges. The frame is steel tubing, the empty unit weighs about 75 pounds, and operating speed runs from about 2.5 to 8 mph. The hopper stands 36 inches high, low enough to fill from bags without a stand.

Calibrating
