Yanmar 48″ Landscape Rake

Description

Yanmar YLR104 48-Inch Landscape Rake

The YLR104 is a 48-inch landscape rake for sub-compact tractors from about 15 to 32 HP. It gathers rocks, sticks and debris, levels loose soil and prepares seedbeds, doing the work of hours of hand raking in a few passes.

Tines and Adjustment

Twenty-four spring steel tines with a consistent one-inch gap sort rocks and roots from soil, and each tine bolts on individually so a broken one can be replaced without replacing the set. The rake angles to five positions forward and five in reverse up to 45 degrees, for windrowing debris to one side or leveling straight. It weighs about 175 pounds and mounts to a limited Category 1, quick-hitch compatible hitch.

• Hitch: Limited Category 1
• Suggested tractor size: 15 to 32 HP
• Approximate weight: 175 lbs
• Tines: 24

Preparing a Lawn

Raking at an angle windrows stones into a row that can be picked up with the loader. Finishing with the rake straight smooths the surface for seeding. The one-inch gap is fine enough to catch most gravel-sized stones while letting soil fall through.

Choosing Your Width

The YLR104 fits sub-compacts. Compact tractors can use the 60-inch YLR205 or the 72-inch YLR206 for larger areas.
