Yanmar YGB104 48-Inch Rear Grader Blade for Sub-Compact Tractors

The YGB104 is the smallest rear grader blade in Yanmar’s attachment line, a 48-inch blade built for sub-compact tractors from about 15 to 32 HP. It is the tool for keeping a gravel drive crowned, cutting shallow drainage swales, spreading a load of topsoil and pushing light snow off a path.

Adjustable for Every Job

The blade angles to five positions forward and five in reverse, up to 45 degrees either way, so it can cast material to one side or work straight ahead. The cutting edge is a 3/8 by 6-inch high-carbon, heat-treated strip that can be reversed when one side wears. A quarter-inch formed moldboard 12.5 inches tall and a limited Category 1 hitch compatible with quick hitches keep the whole unit to about 178 pounds, light enough for the smallest tractors.

Working a Driveway

Running the blade reversed, so it trails behind the tractor, drags material back into potholes, while facing it forward cuts high spots down. Most driveways need both, and a light pass after rain, when the gravel is soft, gives the best result.

Choosing Your Blade Width

The YGB104 fits SA-series and similar sub-compacts. Compact tractors of 20 HP and up get more done with the 60-inch YGB205 or the 72-inch YGB206.
