Description

Wright ZTB 52 Inch Mid-Mount Zero-Turn Rider with Kawasaki FS651 Engine

For buyers moving up to a commercial zero-turn, the ZTB 52 is the practical size: a 52 inch AeroFlow deck, a 22 HP Kawasaki and an 8 gallon tank on a frame built for daily use. Wright presents the ZTB as an accessible way into the brand professional landscapers rely on, and this is the version with the most output.

Frame and Protection

The chassis is a reinforced commercial frame with a heavy-duty bumper and underbody protection, so the parts that matter are shielded when the mower meets a stump or a curb. Front and rear tie-down points are integrated into the machine. A front headlight is standard, and dual corner-pod lights can be added for early starts.

Maintenance Made Simple

The ZTB has zero grease zerks. The floor pan flips up and the component layout is open, so belts, pulleys and the top of the deck are in plain view. The Hydro-Gear ZT3100 transaxles are commercial-grade units. For an owner-operator who does the servicing after hours, that design is worth as much as any performance figure.

The 52 Inch ZTB in Detail

  • Cutting deck: 52 in, 7 gauge welded, 3 blades at 18 in
  • Height of cut: 1.5 to 5 in
  • Top speed: 8.5 mph
  • Drive tires: 22 x 11-10
  • Front casters: 13 x 6.5 pneumatic
  • Overall width: 53.5 in chute up, 65.5 in chute down
  • Weight: 980 lb
  • Up to 4.46 acres per hour

Use the Flip-Up Floor Pan

Damp clippings collect on top of a mid-mount deck, hold moisture against the steel and hide belt wear. Tip the floor pan up at the end of each day and blow the deck top clean while the debris is still loose. It takes a couple of minutes and is the cheapest rust prevention there is.

Options and Alternatives for the ZTB 52

Wright lists a rear hitch kit, arm rests, a stripe kit, light pods and flat-free casters for the ZTB. The 48 inch ZTB is the choice when storage or gate width is limited. The ZTS 52 adds independent front suspension and ZT3400 transaxles, and the ZXL 52 moves into the heavy-duty class with a 15.5 gallon tank and 12.5 mph.
