Why the Kit Is Separate From the Catcher

Scag builds one catcher per machine family and a range of kits to mount it, which keeps the expensive part common and puts the variation into the cheap part. For a buyer it means two line items rather than one, and it means the deck width has to be right at the point of order because the catcher will not fit without the matching kit.
