Altoz Switch 50-Inch V-Plow Attachment

The Altoz Switch 50-inch V-plow is an extremely versatile snow and material handling attachment engineered for contractors and municipalities who demand flexible blade configurations. With the ability to operate in scoop, V-position, angled, or straight blade modes, this hydraulically controlled plow handles snow removal, light aggregate moving, and grading tasks with ease.

Multiple Blade Configurations

The V-plow can be configured in four operating modes: scoop position for carrying snow forward, V-position for breaking through drifts and windrows, left or right angle for side casting material, or straight blade for pushing snow or grading. Hydraulic adjustment between modes is controlled from the operator platform, allowing quick changes without leaving the machine.

Expandable Blade Width

The standard 50-inch blade width provides excellent coverage, with a 44-inch width when in V-position for concentrated breakout power. An optional sidewing extension kit increases blade width to 60 inches straight or 52 inches in V-position, offering even greater productivity for larger areas.

Hydraulic Float and Down Pressure

The hydraulic lift arm, controlled by a proportional switch, lets the blade float and follow ground contours for clean scraping without gouging pavement. Operators can also apply down pressure to scrape hard-packed snow, ice, or compacted material. Adjustable trip tension on the cutting edge protects the blade and mounting hardware from damage when encountering obstructions.

Adjustable and Replaceable Components

Adjustable depth guides and skid shoes modify blade height for different surface conditions and material types. The replaceable hardened steel cutting edge and shoe assembly are designed for long wear life and can be serviced quickly to minimize downtime. An optional snow deflector accessory prevents snow from blowing back over the operator.
