Vortexx 4000HDP 4000 PSI 4 GPM Prosumer Gas Pressure Washer

Description

Vortexx 4000HDP 4000 PSI 4 GPM Prosumer Gas Pressure Washer

At the top of Vortexx’s Prosumer line, the 4000HDP combines a Honda GX390 with a Comet ZWD triplex plunger pump to deliver 4000 PSI at 4 GPM. Vortexx built it for the toughest jobs on a property, naming heavily soiled surfaces around the farm, the home and commercial buildings.

The Comet ZWD Pump Package

The ZWD Series triplex plunger pump carries the Coolflo pump protection system and a commercial grade unloader, the same protection approach used across the line. Vortexx covers the pump for six years. Starting takes no trigger squeeze, and the gun and hose stow on the machine.

Weight, Storage and Handling

The GX390 makes this a heavier machine at a published 155 lb, so plan how it will be moved. Solid foam tires roll well on a barn floor or packed gravel, but loading it into a truck bed needs a ramp or two people. In storage it needs a spot near a water supply and room for 50 ft of hose.

Reading Nozzle Charts for the 4000HDP

Vortexx’s Roto Deck and TPL pages name only the 4000HD, 4000XG and 4000HOT for their separate sizes and list the other size for all other units. The 4000HDP is not named on either chart, so compare its 4 GPM and 4000 PSI rating against the nozzle’s own rating before ordering.

Prosumer or Commercial at 4000 PSI

Owners who will use the machine daily for paid work should compare the commercial 4000HD, which shares the output and adds a 48 in lance. Smaller properties are often served by the 3000HDP at 3 GPM.
